AV21 Strategy
The Institute of Photonics and Electronics hosted the 3rd year of the seminar Critical infrastructure protection with laser technologies, which was organized as part of the AV21 Strategy.

On December 9, our institute hosted the 3rd edition of the seminar Critical infrastructure protection with laser technologies, which was organized as part of the AV21 Strategy (programs Global conflicts and local contexts and Light in the service of society).

Its goal was to map the use of lasers in the protection of critical infrastructures and to identify weak points in optical networks.

At the workshop, there were 5 contributions that covered the issue of the resistance of fiber optic networks, laser protection against drones, the use of artificial intelligence in the protection of critical infrastructures and fiber optic sensors in nuclear facilities. A total of 8 participants took part in it.

IPE carries out fundamental and applied research in the scientific fields of photonics, optoelectronics and electronics. In these fields, IPE generates new knowledge and develops new technologies.
