Admissions Process

The Admissions Committee evaluates all materials received by the application deadline. You will be notified when your application is complete and has been forwarded to the Admissions Committee.

The Admission Committee evaluates whether the applicant's background, qualifications, and professional interests sufficiently meet the requirements of the program and are in accordance with the research focuses of CERGE-EI.

The results of the admissions process are known by mid-April and applicants are notified immediately. There are only two possible outcomes - direct admission or rejection.

The 2023/2024 academic year will begin in October 2023.
