“Prof. Jeong is the one who taught me how to read, understand, and critically assess research papers in macroeconomics. Whenever I have to read a paper important for my own research, in my mind I can hear Prof. Jeong, guiding me through the pages and and prompting me to think about the relevant parts more deeply.”
Daniil Kashkarov, CERGE-EI PhD student and junior researcher
“I truly enjoyed professor Jeong's discussions of different research papers during his Macro Topics course. His encouragement and advice during the early years of my PhD studies became important motivating forces for me. I am very happy that I had a chance to teach for prof. Jeong. He spent a lot of time helping me prepare for the TA sessions and understand material at a deeper level.”
Darya Korlyakova, CERGE-EI PhD student and junior researcher
“Prof. Jeong was always patient in answering my tenacious questions throughout the preparatory semester. Thanks to him, I could be solidly prepared for graduate school in Macroeconomics.”
Jee Hun, CERGE-EI PhD student
“The ability that Prof. Jeong has to make students think thoroughly about basic and complex macroeconomic concepts is extraordinary. In particular, I enjoy the fact that he sets no expectations of his students and makes sure to involve everyone in critical thinking!”
Theodor Kouro, CERGE-EI PhD student and junior researcher
