V průběhu faunistického průzkumu čeledi pestřenkovití (Syrphilidae) v přírodním parku Sovinecko byly chyceny ve faunistickém čtverci 6169 dva druhy pestřenek (Syrphus nitidifrons a Syrphus admirandus), u nichž jde o první zjištění v České republice. Samec S. nitidifrons byl chycen 5. května 2018 v katastrálním území Těchanov v lesním údolí 370 m n. m.; samice S. admirandus pak 25. května 2018 v katastrálním území Jiříkov na louce při okraji lesa 635 m n. m.

In the Czech Republic, the hoverfly species Syrphus nitidifrons and S. admirandus (Diptera: Syrphidae) have been found for the first time in May 2018. Both species were caught in the Sovinecko Natural Park (49°52' N, 17°15' E). The male of S. nitidifrons was caught in the forest valley, 370 m a. s. l. (May 5); the female of S. admirandus was caught on a meadow near a forest edge, 635 m a. s. l. (May 25).
