Researchers from UJEP are still at the center of beneficial research
The Czech Republic developed the first nanofiber valveless, reusable, respirator of protection class FFP3 with 99.9% virus detection.
The respirator of protection class FFP3 with 99.9% virus detection was developed by the Czech company PARDAM NANO4FIBERS in cooperation with researchers from the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.
This is one of the safest ways to protect yourself today against viral diseases, such as the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19.
Researchers from the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem also contributed to this significant success of Czech scientists in a significant way. In mutual cooperation with the company PARDAM NANO4FIBERS, they benefited from ten years of experience with the preparation of antimicrobial nanofiber membranes in nanofiber and microbiological laboratories of the Faculty of Science UJEP.
"We have been cooperating with PARDAM NANO4FIBERS for years, and on the basis of a cooperation agreement in research and education, even our students can be involved in research and practical training in the company. Together, we have developed antimicrobial nanofiber membranes for face masks that can also be used in air purifiers, "says prof. Pavla Čapková, DrSC., a recognized scientist in the field of nanomaterials.
The research is supported by LRI NanoEnviCz.
