Team 4)

Comparative and Transnational History

The team broadens the research on Czech modern history through comparative and transnational approaches. Using classical tools of comparative history as well as by analysing cultural transfers, it tries to transcend the paradigms of national history focused on the central categories of nations and nation-states. The team carries out specific research projects on the history of migration and citizenship, modern wars and violence, the history of work, and urban history.
