Pamir Nag is the IOPP Reviewer of the Year 2022
Dr. Pamir Nag was selected as the Reviewer of the Year. IOP Publishing (IOPP) announced the winners of its Reviewer Awards for 2022. We sincerely congratulate our colleague.
Each year outstanding reviewers are selected by IOPP’s Editors based on the quality, quantity, and timeliness of their reviews. The awards are part of IOPP’s commitment to recognising and rewarding peer reviewers for the work that they do.
This year Dr. Pamir Nag was selected for the Reviewer of the Year Award by the Journal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics. Dr. Pamir Nag works in the Department of Dynamics of Molecules and Clusters. Dr. Nag is mainly interested in studying electron beam induced processes in gas and liquid phased molecules. In the past few years, he built a velocity map spectrometer to study low energy electron collision with gas phased molecules and a high vacuum compatible recirculating liquid-microjet system to perform electron collision experiments with gas phased molecules at the J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry.
“Reviewing process of scientific articles is one of the most important steps in preserving the quality of research. It is responsibility of the reviewers not only to ensure that only scientifically correct results are getting published but also to motivate the authors to improve the quality of the research and the research articles,” says Pamir Nag.
We thank Dr. Pamir Nag for his excellent work.
