Abstract:
The aim is realization of innovative, training and informative Center on nanomaterials and nanotechnologies. The project will exploit potential of academic and university institutions in synthesis and application of nanomaterials by joining the research inter-disciplinary knowledge and the industrial partners. Transfer into praxis is facing to the missing infrastructure for scalling up the processes. The aim is reconstruction of laboratories in the 6th floor of the building of UFCH JH and purchasing the equipment. Development of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies for catalytic, photocatalytic and electrode processes requires specific synthesis and a number of techniques for analysis of their structure and function. The target group is academic institutions (J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry of the AS CR, v.v.i., Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the AS CR, v.v.i., Faculty of Science of Charles University Prague, Institute of Chemical Technology Prague), small enterprices (EuroSupport Manufacturing Czechia,s.r.o., Elmarco, s.r.o.) and industrial research center (VÚAnCh, a.s.). The project will guarantee critical research capacity and training of PhD students and emploees from industry.
The project will last from October 1, 2008 to October 31, 2010.
Sponsors: European Union (European Regional Development Fund -ERDF); Prague City Hall - programme OPPK.
Main contractor: J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry of the AS CR, v.v.i.
Partners:
Elmarco s.r.o.;
EuroSupport Manufacturing Czechia, s.r.o.;
