New post on the EHRI Document Blog: “Everyone Had to Do With It, Either Through Family or Some Other Means”: Testimonies of Ukrainian Witnesses About the Holocaust in Volhynia

The post looks at contemporary historiographical trends in the research on the Holocaust in Ukraine and analyses testimonies with residents of the historical-cultural region of Volhynia from the Voices project. By adding microhistorical case studies the post draws new conclusions about the Holocaust in the region and the cause and nature of ethnic violence in Volhynia during the war.
