Fraudulent Documents Policy
CERGE-EI is committed to integrity and honesty in all its academic and administrative aspects. To ensure that CERGE-EI admits and graduates only qualified candidates with complete and verifiable documentation, it has zero tolerance for submission of fraudulent or forged documents or for misrepresentation of any kind by applicants.
Failing to list any previous complete or incomplete higher education is considered misrepresentation and may lead to rejection of an application, or reduction or withdrawal of financial support by CERGE-EI.
Submission of documents including transcripts, diplomas, test scores, references, or applications that are forged, fraudulent, altered from the original, materially incomplete, obtained under false pretenses, or otherwise deceptive (collectively referred to as fraudulent documents) is prohibited and will be investigated with the assistance of corresponding institutions and governmental bodies.
All documents submitted to CERGE-EI in support of applications for admission, academic evaluations, and required administrative processing must be true, accurate, and complete. Supporting documents must not make misrepresentations, omit relevant information, or be altered from the original.
CERGE-EI reserves the right to withdraw offers of admission, place a temporary or permanent ban on applying for future admission, and prohibit registration and enrolment of applicants who present fraudulent documents.
