From April 24th to 27th, the SPIE Optics + Optoelectronics 2023 Symposium took place at Prague. Scientists from our Institute chaired a total of 4 conferences, and we also organized a specialized workshop on optical fibers, including a lab tour.

Sixty years ago, the first lasers in Czechoslovakia were lit up, and the first university course in laser physics was launched.
