On Thursday, June 15th, The Centre for Climate Law and Sustainability Studies will host a distinguished advocate of environmental interests in numerous court litigations in the USA Michael Freund. At 1:30 p.m., he will give a talk on "California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act," and will also present interesting litigation cases he has handled. The Centre for Climate Law and Sustainability Studies (CLASS) has been involved for more than a year in a project supported by Norway Grants and the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic called Healthy Passenger Transport - Improving air quality and reducing emissions from passenger vehicles. Now, in the final weeks of the project, we will present the main results, including the scientific findings, to the public and invite you to the public events we are planning.

On February 27, 2023, the Association for the Protection of Personal Data, the Institute of State and Law of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Pierstone law firm jointly organized a round table on the topic "Future Regulation of Digital Sectors as a Complex Problem" in the building of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

The book Klimatické právo (Climate Law) by a team of authors led by Hana Müllerová and with a foreword by Prof. Bedřich Moldan has just been published by Wolters Kluwer. It is the first comprehensive treatment of climate law in the Czech language.
