FZU has just launched the first call of Physics for Future (P4F) MSCA COFUND Action designed for a new generation of physicists, allowing them to execute their own bottom-up research projects. P4F also offers an opportunity for an integrated blend of advanced scientific, transferable, and soft skill training.

Through a transparent, merit-based selection process spanning two calls, P4F is set to welcome 60 postdoctoral fellows in total to join FZU and ELI Beamlines. The first call, launched on the 1st of September, aims at recruiting 30 excellent researchers for 2-year fellowships.

100+ supervisors from FZU and ELI Beamlines will support and encourage fellows in their research and contribute to the career development of future leaders in the field of physics, who will be able to address and solve the needs of society in the perspective of global sustainable development.

P4F's scientific scope aligns with FZU's core research areas: particle and theoretical physics, condensed matter, solid state physics, optics, laser, plasma physics, and ELI's laser technologies.
