Introduction to the researches at Photon Factory, a synchrotron light source in Japan

Abstract: Photon Factory is an accelerator-based light source facility, as a part of the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) Japan.

There are 47 experimental stations with apparatus optimized for each experiment, which is used for wide range of researches of materials and life science. In this talk, an overview will be given of the researches at photon factory, and among them recent studies at soft X-ray station of BL-16A will be introduced.
