Zaměření:

My research interest focus on Contemporary European Politics - party democracy, political sociology and political economy - from a comparative and historical perspective. I investigate the transformations of Eastern and Western political systems as part of the EU integration project and the rise of contemporary challenges: the appeals to populism and technocracy, democratic backsliding, and conflicts of sovereignties within the EU.
