Eva Balounová received the Visegrad Group Academies Young Researcher Award 2023 in Warsaw on 19 October. This year's award was dedicated to research on climate change in the global and polar dimensions. The award was conferred by the President of the CAS, Eva Zažímalová.

On November 18, 2023, the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic is organizing a lecture on deepfakes.

Lecture „Deepfakes – opportunity or threat?“ with a subsequent discussion will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the building of the Institute at Národní 18, Prague 1, 7th floor or online.
