Bobr evropský (Castor fiber) se rozšiřuje nejen po celé Evropě, ale i v České republice. Dochází k postupnému propojování dříve izolovaných populací. V posledních pěti letech se spojily severočeská populace z Labe s populací, která se ze západních Čech přes Prahu "vlila" až do Labe. Z bobra se stává plošně se šířící druh výrazného hlodavce.

The Eurasian Beaver (Castor fiber) is spreading throughout Europe and the Czech Republic. Previously isolated populations are gradually being brought together. In the last five years, the North Bohemian population from the Elbe River has merged with a population that has „flowed“ from Western Bohemia through Prague to the Elbe River. The beavers have become a widespread species of essential and exciting rodents.
