Utilization of Ru-O bond for generation of new biological and catalytically active materials

The project is focused on utilization of new polyethylene (PE) materials terminated with silanol (PE-SiOH) or hydrosilane (PE-SiH) functionality as supports for catalysts species. We will primarily focuse on Grubs type metathetic catalysts and their grafting via Ru-O bond to PE-SiOH polymers as an organic analogues of inorganic siliceous materials.
