Conference of EDUin and its Founders’ Club
Daniel Münich was the keynote speaker at a conference hosted by EDUin, an information and education organisation within its Founders' Club, aimed at primary school founders and head teachers that go by the name of "School as a Task”.

Ministry of Education and Science Award for outstanding results in research, experimental development, and innovation
Doc. Michal Bauer, PhD, researcher, and a member of CERGE-EI’s professorial staff, received the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports Award for Outstanding Achievements in Research, Experimental Development, and Innovation. He was awarded along with other successful educators and representatives of the Czech scientific community at Wallenstein Palace in Prague on December 12th, 2022
The awards were presented to 18 laureates in five categories by Vladimír Balaš, Minister of Education, who said that the honours were given to exceptional and motivated personalities of the Czech academic and scientific research environment.

Professor of Charles University - Michal Kejak
CERGE-EI professor Michal Kejak is one of 23 new professors from Charles University appointed by President Miloš Zeman on November 28, 2022, and handed over their decrees three weeks later on December 19, in the Grand Hall of the Carolinum by Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Vladimír Balaš.

Prof. Ing. Michal Kejak, M.A., CSc. was appointed professor of economic theory. He is a member of the Executive and Supervisory Board of CERGE-EI. His research interests include macroeconomic theory, monetary models, growth and business cycle models and numerical methods in macroeconomics.
