Transmission optical elements for banknote and document security using selective deposition of thin film structure

The subject of the present project is to develop completely new optical security features that can be used on modern banknotes and plastic documents with transparent areas. The innovation of the solution lies in the combination of the inscription of specific micro- and nanostructured elements and the selective sputtering and reactive sputtering of thin layers, multilayers of metals and metal oxides that exhibit defined inhomogeneity.
