I am Dr Václav Pavlík. I am a researcher at the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. My position is funded from Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions COFUND - "MERIT". The focus of my research is the dynamical evolution of star clusters and dense stellar environments, the dynamical origin of binary stars, the retention of black holes in clusters and their long-term evolution, and the evolution of star clusters in the Galaxy.
