The transcripts of President Masaryk’s diary were made by his secretary, Vladimír Kučera (1891–1961), who worked in the Office of the President of the Republic between January 1919 and March 1929. The typewritten transcripts of the diaries represent a unique source that allows us an insight into the daily duties and programs of the first Czechoslovak President. In terms of chronology, they are not complete, covering the period 1918 to 1926 and the year 1933. The documents are stored in the fond ÚTGM 47/1, box 69 at the Masaryk Institute and Archives. The database can be searched using dates or full-text search.
