This year's photography competition, entitled The Charm of Physics, is now open to students as well as current and former FZU employees. Each participant can submit up to 5 photos. The deadline for submissions is 31 December 2023.
This year's theme focuses on physics in everyday life and aims to challenge stereotypes associated with the perception of this scientific field. Participants are invited to use their phone or camera in physics class or elsewhere to capture mysterious moments that show the magic of physics. The competition requires a series of no more than five photographs related to the theme.
The competition is open to past and present staff of the Institute of Physics and students from all types of schools. The deadline for submitting photographs is 31 December 2023 at 12:00 CET, and the winners will be announced on 8 January 2024.
Entry requirements
To enter the competition, a series of no more than five photographs must be submitted.
The photographs must relate to the theme of the Physics in Everyday Life competition.
The theme is open to experimentation.
Anyone can participate, but the competition is primarily aimed at former and current staff of the Institute of Physics and students from all types of schools.

Closing date
It is very important that we receive your photos by 12.00 (CET) on 31 December 2023. Entries received after this deadline will not be considered.
Winners will be announced on 8 January 2024.
