Abstract

The conduction processes in molecular materials will be presented and different types of organic electronic devices will be discussed, namely resistors, field-effect transistors and heterojunction devices. We will see how molecular engineering is important to control the electrical and sensing properties of devices. Responses to ammonia in the ppm range and below and to ozone in the ppb range will be presented.
