Research Interests of Department of Dynamics of Molecules and Clusters

We investigate the dynamics of molecules, clusters and nanoparticles interacting with photons and electrons on a fundamental level. Our results have outreach to various areas, e.g. atmospheric chemistry, astrochemistry, postradiation chemistry, biophysics, and even to practical applications such as nanofabrication and high voltage switching devices. We implement various spectroscopic and spectrometric techniques in our experiments: e.g. different UV and IR spectroscopies, mass spectrometry, ion imaging and electron spectroscopy etc. We also modify and develop new experimental techniques.
