The transfer of knowledge into practice and contribution to the technological progress of the industry are inherently part of the ÚFE's mission. Here you can find examples about our successful licensing, developed prototypes, participation in trade fairs and other interesting news about the exploitation of our research results.
14. 12. 2022 Granting of License II Within the framework of the MŠMT - ERC CZ project, our institution has focused on a fundamentally new method for detecting and tracking protein conformation at the level of individual molecules, in their natural time scales, and potentially without the use of molecular labels. The result was a new type of spatial light modulator, utilizing the thermo-optic effect to create areas of locally semi-uniform refractive index change, which is insensitive to polarization, does not contain residual diffraction patterns, and can achieve modulation frequencies up to the MHz range with an available full range of phase shift. A licensing agreement was concluded in 2022. |

27. 3. 2022 Granting of License I In collaboration with an industrial partner within the MPO - TRIO project, our institution has focused on researching a new technology that can be applied in the production of power semiconductor components, one of the key technologies of the present day. The project found synergies between the institution's know-how in the field of inorganic nanomaterials and the needs of the industry. The achieved results allowed for the conclusion of a licensing agreement in 2022. |
