Prague.bio Conference 2024

2nd year of Prague.bio Conference 2024 is a full-day biotech conference for start-ups, industrial partners, investors, researchers, and other biotech experts from Central Europe.

The main theme of the event is investment in startups, spin-offs, and technology commercialization. Representatives from science and business will exchange their experiences in developing and financing new drugs, diagnostics, medical technologies, and other areas.

The keynote speakers will be Christian A. Stein, the CEO and co-founder of Ascenion GmbH, one of the largest technology transfer institutions in Germany, and Petr Jansa, co-founder of Pallando Therapeutics and other successful start-ups whose expertise builds on collaboration with Prof. Antonín Holý and the development of new drugs at Gilead Sciences.

The conference will also include an investor panel discussion featuring Sebastian Kreuz from Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, Agnes Oertli from LSA Ventures, Roman Smola from Tensor Ventures, and Nicolas Beuzen from i&i Biotech Fund, as well as a debate with representatives from law firms and intellectual property experts, which was one of the highlights of last year's event.

The traditional pitch session will also take place, featuring promising biotech projects from Central Europe.
