Juraj Valachy is a CERGE-EI PhD in Economics graduate and the Director of the Institute for Financial Policy at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic. Juraj is one of the most recognized experts in macroeconomics and econometrics in Slovakia. The Institute for Financial Policy is the Slovak Republic’s Finance Ministry’s analytical unit. It belongs to top analytical units and is one of the oldest public administration economic think tanks in Slovakia.
