Archbishop of Prague and the Primate of Bohemia Mons. Jan Graubner presented a Head of our Editorial Board, Professor Michal Tomášek, with the Saint Adalbert Gold Medal for many years of research activities and his contribution to the knowledge of history of the Church and Church law. The solemn act took place in the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert at the end of the pilgrimage mass on the occasion of the feast of St. Vitus on June 15, 2024.

On 25 June 2024, the Institute of State and Law of the CAS will organize an international conference on "Artificial Intelligence, Personalization and Law".

The conference will be held online.

On 30–31 May 2024, the Centre for Climate Law and Sustainability Studies of the Institute of State and Law will be organizing an international climate law conference ‘Shaping Climate Law: Dynamic Roles of State and Non-State Actors’. 

Our researcher, Rita Simon, in collaboration with Silvia Vyskočilová from the Faculty of Law of the Charles University, contributed to a comparative monograph on Unfair terms in banking and financial contracts, published by Oxford University Press.

The Centre for Climate Law and Sustainability Studies (CLASS) is organising  an international climate law conference. The preliminary programme has been just released at the conference website.

A new, special issue of The Lawyer Quarterly has just been published. It provides insights into selected issues of EU law.
