We invite you to an in-house seminar by Anne Gärtner from the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering IOF, which will take place on Friday 16 August at 10 am in the PERLA Seminar Room.
The Fraunhofer IOF in Jena/Germany is well-known for its research and developments in applied optics and precision engineering. It covers the entire optical photonic process chain – from the opto-mechanical and opto-electronic system design to the manufacturing of customized solutions and prototypes. Optical coatings play a crucial role in this field. In my presentation, I will introduce our department "Functional Surfaces and Coatings" and provide a brief overview of our work. I will especially go deeper into detail about our patented AR-plas® technology for generating nanostructures for antireflective coatings, highlighting several advantages.
