We are seeking qualified candidates for a researcher position in experimental astroparticle physics. This opportunity is open to both postdoctoral fellows and senior researchers, as the position encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities and activities.
The Astroparticle group at the Institute of Physics is involved in various research areas, including the testing and development of hardware or the analysis of the current and next-generation cosmic-ray experimental data, namely the cosmic ray composition and characterization of hadronic interactions at energies above the LHC. The Department is part of the Division of Elementary Particle Physics and has about 25 physicists, students, and support staff. It is involved in large international collaborations in astroparticle physics – Pierre Auger Observatory (in Argentina), CTA (Spain, Chile), SWGO, LSST (Chile).
