Ing. Mgr. Ondřej Kaman, Ph.D.

Ondřej Kaman is the head of the Department of Magnetics and Superconductors and the head of the laboratory Magnetic nanomaterials and molecular systems. His research focus and activities relate primarily:

• nanomaterials and molecular systems with magnetic ions – preparation and experimental studies of their structure and magnetism
• experimental experience mainly in powder X-ray diffraction, magnetic measurements and characterization by TEM, DLS and IR spectroscopy etc.
• detailed analysis of physical properties of magnetic nanoparticles relevant for medical applications (MRI, magnetic fluid hyperthermia, theranostics)
• study of the magnetic behaviour of coordination compounds of d and f metals.
