11^th Hieracium workshop 2010

Topics for Presentations may include:

• taxonomic, morphological, floristic, biogeographic, cytological, reproductive, population genetic, ecological, phylogenetic, genomic, and evolutionary aspects of Hieracium s.l. and related genera
• contributions to floras, keys, species lists, and information on new occurrences
• presentation of new and ongoing projects (strongly encouraged)

Abstract Submission

Abstracts for posters and lectures should contain the title, names of all authors, authors’ addresses, and an informative summary of no more than 2500 characters of text including spaces (the total submission should not exceed one A4 page, font Times New Roman 12 pt, margins 3 cm). The name of the presenting author should be underlined. Please send your abstract as an email attachment. Files in .doc, .rtf, or .docx format are acceptable. Please indicate whether you wish to present a poster or give a short talk / long talk, and also if the contribution represents results of your research or information about new or ongoing projects.

Lectures

Time slots for talks are 40 min (30-35 min + 5-10 min for discussions) or 20 min (15-18 min + 2-5 min for discussions). A laptop for Power Point presentations (Windows XP / Office 2003) will be provided. Please upload your presentation well in advance of the talk, preferably at time of registration.

Posters

The maximum size for posters is 80x120 cm (portrait format). Materials for mounting them on the poster boards will be provided. Authors should give a short presentation (5-10 min) of their poster to the audience and be ready for questions and discussion of their results.
