12.2.2010 - RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION AVAILABLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic Research Assistant to join a newly established laboratory at the Institute of Cellular Biology and Pathology (http://lge.lf1.cuni.cz/) of the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. The work of the laboratory is focussed on the architecture and expression of the genome within the cell nucleus. We use state-of-the-art molecular and cell biology techniques as well as fluorecence microscopy to investigate nuclear structure and function in C.elegans embryos and cultured mammalian cells.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should hold a M.Sc. or equivalent in the life sciences (molecular/cell biology, biochemistry, genetics or related field). The candidate is expected to perform experiments independently. Previous experience in molecular biology and fluorescence microscopy is essential. The candidate should have excellent organisational and communication skills.
