Research:

    The group is focused mainly on the development and applications of modern fluorescence techniques in biosciences. The five main research fields are listed below:

  1. Application of FCS and Lifetimes FCS in various fields

  2. Supported Lipid Bilayers studied by a number of techniques including ellipsometry, FCS and LSM (SLB’s)

  3. DNA condensation and FCS

  4. Principles and applications of the solvent relaxation technique

  5. Tryptophan fluorescence in protein science


Resources:

    Our group is mainly interested in fluorescent techniques. Below are the lectures that has been presented on academic courses on several Czech universities (pdf files). The data shown are both taken from our research results and from other sources. We would like to acknowledge prof. David Jameson for his resources.
