LIGHTUP TECHNOLOGIES AB

In 1998 we founded LightUp Technologies was honored the Connect company of the year in 1999 and in 2003 it was the first company to receive CE certification for the European market for its CMV real-time PCR test. In 2006 the company was acquired by Bactus. The company is located in Huddinge outside of Stockholm.

MULTID ANALYSIS AB

In 2001 we founded MultiD Analyses together with scientists from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and software engineers from Ericsson. MultiD  develops software for multidimensional data analyses based on innovative and insightful approaches and proprietary art. MultiD main products are GenEx for real-time PCR expression analysis and DATAN for analysis of spectroscopic data. In 2002 MultiD received the VinnNu as one of the most promising Swedish high technology startups. The company is located in Göteborg.

TATAA BIOCENTER AB

TATAA Biocenter was started in 2001 in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2003 TATAA Biocenter AB was registered company as Europe’s first provider of real-time PCR services and hands-on training in real-time PCR. TATAA Biocenter is advised by leading experts in real-time PCR and collaborates with leading biotechnology companies in the field. On the training side TATAA Biocenter collaborates with EMBO and FEBS in Europe, HHMI, CHI and Pittcon in the US, and UNESCO and SIDA in the developing countries. In 2005 TATAA Biocenter, Germany, was founded in Freising outside Munich, and in 2006 a TATAA Biocenter was founded at the MMRI institute in Sunnyvale, CA. In 2007 TATAA Biocenter is founded in Prague, Czech Republic.

MENA GROUP & MENA COMPANY OF THE IMPORT OF DRUGS AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

The Middle East and North Africa -MENA - group was founded in the wake of a UNESCO project supporting the Libyan National Board of Scientific Research to set up an International Biotechnology Research Center after the removal of international sanctions against Libya. Working together with leading pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies MENA Diagnostics import life saving drugs, key research tools, and diagnostic kits to main hospitals, leading research centers and major diagnostic laboratories in Libya. MENA Education arranges training for Libyan postgraduate students at leading research centers and Universities in Europe. MENA Group main office is in Tripoli Libya. A small Scandinavian office for MENA Education is located at the Swedish TATAA Biocenter.
