Research
The group is involved in the investigation of static and
dynamic molecular and supramolecular structure of macromolecules,
their complexes and aggregates of various degrees of order,
polymer solutions, thermoreversible gels, polymer blends and
networks. The topics in the last years have been reaction centres, supramacromolecular
structures including micelles of amphiphilic block copolymers,
complexes of stereoregular polymers and nucleic acids or their
models, partially ordered domains in polymers, microdomains in
polymer blends and local or semilocal mobility in hybrid
polysiloxane networks.
The main methods used are:
- High-resolution NMR spectrometer Bruker DPX300
- Solid-state NMR spectrometer Bruker Avance 500 WB/US
- FT infrared spectrometer Nicolet Nexus
- FT infrared spectrometer Bruker IFS55 with Raman module
Bruker FRA106
- Raman microspectrometer Renishaw in Via
- Workstations with a link to higher computing
architectures
