Adopting different approaches I am investigating various aspects of brood parasitism and migratory connectivity in birds and their consequences for reproductive performance and population ecology.

Bird of the Year 2011 is the yellowhammer. Please, join the accompanying project that aims at exploring the distribution of yellowhammer dialects on the territory of the Czech Republic and promoting citizen science among amateur ornithologists.
