Scope

We will organize the 2nd QPlus Workshop following-up a previous workshop held in Prague last year. The workshop will be held in the Institute of Physics, Prague, Czech Republic on Friday 8th October 2010.

This workshop will be focused on applications, the methods of tip preparation, how to overcome current limitations and further improvements of the QPlus method. We expect a series of short contributions from participants reporting on experiences with their QPlus instruments. Afterwards, there will be a panel discussion mainly devoted to advantages, new ideas for experiments and current limitations of the QPlus sensor, e.g. cross-talk of the tunneling current into the force signal.

The registration is free, food and accommodation will be covered by the organizers. Please, let me know as soon as possible, if you or members of your group wish to participate in this workshop. Please contact us if you wish to present a short talk about your experience/results with the QPlus sensor.
