Program

The FAIR11 school will officially start on Monday morning, October 3, and will end on Friday afternoon, October 7. The program will consist of invited lectures followed by sessions devoted to student presentations.

Invited speakers and titles of their lectures:

  Exploration of compressed baryonic matter - the CBM experiment at FAIR
• R. Holzmann (GSI):
  The experimental quest for in-medium effects
• B. Kaempfer (Dresden):
  Extreme matter in the Universe
• S. Leupold (Uppsala):
  Symmetries of QCD and in-medium physics
• L. Schmitt (GSI):
  Hadron physics at FAIR
• J. Zmeskal (Wien)
  FLAIR at FAIR
• (TBA)
  NuSTAR at FAIR

Lecturers will give 3 lectures (50 minutes each).
Other participants (students) are encouraged to give a seminar (15-20 minutes).
