Citizens on Economic Situation of the Czech Republic and Living Standard of Their Households - January 2012 |

According to the January survey of CVVM, 62% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as bad, 30% view it as neither good nor bad and 7% consider it to be good. Only 4% of citizens think that the economic situation will improve in this year, 20% expect no change, and 73% awaits worsening of economic situation. 41% of Czechs evaluate the living standard of their household as good, 21% consider it to be bad, and 38% characterize it as neither good, nor bad.

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in January 2012 |

In January 2012 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, Government, President, Local and Regional Councils.
As a part of the CVVM surveys there is a question about public satisfaction with current political situation in the Czech Republic. The regular survey of public confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation help to monitor development of public attitudes in the long term.
