Research interests
genomics of speciation in house mouse (study of house mouse hybrid zone),
evolution of genomic architecture (activity of retrotransposons and their role in shaping genomic architecture in mammalian genomes).

2005-2008: undergraduate study - Charles University Prague, Faculty of Science, General biology. Thesis: The house mouse as a model organism for study of genetics of speciation.
2008–2010: undergraduate study - Charles Univeristy Prague, Faculty of Science, Zoology. Thesis: Recently active L1 and B1 retrotransposons in the house mouse genome.
2010-present: Ph.D. study - Charles Univeristy Prague, Faculty of Science, Zoology. Thesis: Genome-wide analysis of house mouse hybrid zone.
