Patricia Martinkova
I am a researcher at the Department of Medical Informatics and Biostatistics of the Institute of Computer Science, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
My research interests include biostatistics and psychometrics. I focus on developing models for estimating the quality of health assessments and educational tests. My apllied research uses these advanced methodologies to analyse medical data and data from educational testing. I took part in projects on multiple sclerosis, hypertension and leukemia and I analysed entrance exams to Charles University, 1st Faculty of Medicine.
I provide teaching and consulting of biostatistics at undergraduate and graduate level in courses of the Europen Centre of Medical Informatics, Statistics and Epidemiology. I also give tutorials on quality of educational tests.
Recent news
I've been awarded the Fulbright-Masaryk Fellowship for period September 2013 through June 2014.
