Centre for Scientific Information
During the five decades that have passed since its foundation (1955), the original Library of the Institute has been transformed into a modern documentation and information centre which today constitutes the very heart of the Institute. Even though the primary mission of the Centre is to provide the information background for the Institute´s researchers, it has the status of a public library under The Libraries Act (no. 257/2001 Czech Republic Law Collection) and is, thus, open to the general public.
