The main objective of this PhD thesis is to enhance understanding of host parasite coevolution using hybrid zone as a natural laboratory. This work aimed to study population genetics of selected parasites; one bacterial genera (Helicobacter) and two helminthes Syphacia Obvelata (Oxyurida) and Trichuris muris (Trichurida), collected from mice from the house mouse HZ in Europe, to see specifically i) genetic variability in parasites and ii) to correlate this with the genetic background of the host.
