The dispersion of gibel carp in the Central and East Europe is connected with the changes of the originálky triploid populations towards diploid-polyploid populations. The present studies indicate that the changes of its reproductive strategy, i.e. a shift from gynogenesis to the sexual reproduction, occurred in a given time period after the invasion. It should be hypothesized that the abiotic and biotic factors favour the invasive triploid populations maintained by gynogenesis. On the contrary, in the new invaded habitats, the triploid character of the population could be a disadvantage to retain the population stability. It could lead to the changes of the reproductive strategy connected with the changes of the ploidy. The aim of the proposed project is to analyze the selected immune and physiological parameters in diploid-triploid populations, to estimate a potential contribution of those parameters to the changes of the reproductive strategy and to designate the future evolution of the population structure. The indicators of the condition status and vitality will be applied for the comparison of the investments in diploids and triploids in the mixed populations with a potential application of those parameters in the aquacultures for the next studies.
