Výzkumné směry
- evoluční ekologie afrických anuálních ryb rodu Nothobranchius,
- diverzita afrických sladkovodních ryb a jejich parazitů.
Vzdělání
- 1995-2000: bakalářské/magisterské studium - Masarykova univerzita, přírodovědecká fakulta, systematická zoologie a ekologie. Diplomová práce: Distribuce a sezónní dynamika glochidií v populacích ryb na vybraných lokalitách jižní Moravy.
- 2000-2008: doktorské studium - Masarykova univerzita, přírodovědecká fakulta, parazitologie. Dizertační práce: Výskyt a distribuce mnohobuněčných parazitů ve společenstvech hostitelských ryb.
