The Ferran Sunyer i Balaguer Prize is awarded each year for a mathematical monograph of an expository nature presenting the latest developments in an active area of research in Mathematics, in which the applicant has made important contributions. The awardees of the 2020 edition are:

• Urtzi Buijs (Universidad Málaga), Yves Félix (Université Catholique Louvain), Aniceto Murillo (Universidad Málaga) and Daniel Tanré (Université Lille), for the monograph Lie models in topology.
• Giovanni Catino (Politecnico Milano) and Paolo Mastrolia (Università degli Studi Milano), for the monograph A Perspective on Canonical Riemannian Metrics.
