Travelling exhibition "The story of the Mercury drop" visited in turn 26 places: the cities of Pardubice (two diffrent places), Brno (two diffrent places), Prague (6 different places), Olomouc, Ostrava, Jihlava, Ústí nad Labem, Děčín, Teplice, Žďár nad Sázavou, Železný Brod, Vítkov, Prostějov, Uherské Hradiště, Zlín, Liberec, Litoměřice, Český Krumlov, and Znojmo (together 27 300 visitors, all exhibitions last 39 months together).

The exhibits, for visitors perhaps rather "heavy" as far as the topic is concerned, for the organizers are heavy because of their weight which had to be transferred.
Exhibition team - among us, who decided to prepare the material for exhibition reminding of 50th anniversary of Nobel Prize to Jaroslav Heyrovský for polarography, the story of a drop originated more than five years ago, i.e., at the beginning of 2008. Photo (1) was taken during preparation of the exhibits by the team Dr K.Stejskalová, Dr M.Heyrovský († 12.4.2017) and Dr R.Kalvoda ( † 2.8.2011 ); photos (2,3,4) are from opening ceremony of the first exhibition in Pardubice in September 2009.
