Ninth Liblice Conference
on the Statistical Mechanics of Liquids

ARRIVAL

SUNDAY, June 15
By plane
It is assumed that most participants will fly into Prague. There will be two buses to take conferees from Downtown Prague to the conference hotel. One bus leaves at about 13.00 and the other at about 16.00. The trip takes about approximately 2 hours.
The buses will depart from the bus-stand in front of hotel DIPLOMAT, Evropska 15, Prague 6, a few steps from the subway line A terminal (Dejvicka) and the terminal of bus #119 from Vaclav Havel Airport.
By train
Sec is 30 km from Pardubice, the capital of the province, lying on the route Berlin-Dresden-Prague-Vienna/Budapest served by fast EuroCity trains. Transportation to the conference site from the Pardubice Main Station can be arranged, with a bus leaving at 17.00 from the Main Station.
Please, indicate your intention to travel via Pardubice by email addressed to the conference chair, not later than May 31.

DEPARTURE

FRIDAY MORNING, June 20
The early-bird bus departing for Vaclav Havel airport in Prague will leave at 6.00 reaching the airport at about 8.30 (depending on traffic). The other bus will leave at 9.45, reaching the airport at about 12.00. For those traveling by train, there will be a bus to Pardubice Main Station leaving the conference hotel at about 9.30.

ACCOMPANYING PERSON PROGRAM

For accompanying persons, there will be full-day programs from Monday through Thursday, including one day visit to Prague. On Tuesday afternoon, accompanying persons will join the conference participants for an excursion to Kutna Hora, UNESCO Heritage Site. Details of the program will be specified later.

VISA

Current regulations require an entry visa to the Czech Republic for citizens of most non-European countries (Visitors from Australia, Canada, Japan, and USA are currently exempt)  and several European countries. All Conferees are advised to check the regulations in their home countries before leaving for the conference.
